Pamela "Pam" Garin is the lead marketing and development specialist associated with The Afflerbach Group. She applies her expertise in identifying the assets of a community, coupled with extensive business knowledge and marketing skills, to promote the growth of businesses and develop projects that create jobs and foster economic development.
Pam's professional resume includes twenty years of experience in marketing and sales, business and economic development, and product development. She combines her diverse background of strong leadership abilities in managing and motivating teams with excellent verbal and written communication, facilitation and presentation skills in marketing and event planning.
In additon to serving as Director of Career Services for McCann School of Business and Technology, Pam has served as Director of Institutional Advancement for Historic Bethlehem Partnership, as Corporate Support Manager for public television station Channel 39 WLVT in Pennsylvania, as Economic Development Manager for the County of Lehigh's Department of Community and Economic Development, and as Business Development Manager for the Bureau of Community and Economic Development, Allentown, PA.
Ms. Garin is a magna cum laude graduate of the Allentown Business School with an Associate Specialized Business degree in Business Administration/Management/Marketing. She presently serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of Lehigh Valley College, is a member of the Alpha Beta Kappa National Honor Society, and has served as a volunteer board member of numerous community economic development committees and organizations.
